Sarah Underwood is Clinical Lead at The Cosmetology Nurse, a nurse-led clinic in Hinckley known for calm, evidence-based care and natural, refined results. She’s also an experienced Non-Medical Prescriber and educator.
Having taught on postgraduate Master’s programmes for several years, she brings the same standards to teaching as she does to her patients: thorough, honest and detail-led, with time for every question.

We’re working towards becoming an independent VTCT-approved centre, so that alongside our CPD-accredited courses we can offer regulated VTCT qualifications in aesthetics. If you’d like to hear more as plans develop, register your interest and we’ll keep you updated.

Who are your courses for?
Our courses are for registered medical and healthcare professionals. Each course page sets out who it’s for and any experience you’ll need first. We’ll ask for evidence of your professional registration and insurance before confirming your place.
I’m not sure which course is right for me. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Tell us about your background and what you’d like to achieve, and we’ll recommend the right starting point, with honest advice and no pressure.
How big are the groups?
No more than four delegates per course, and shadow days are one-to-one. Small groups mean unrushed teaching, close supervision and time for every question.
Will I treat real patients?
Yes. Our practical courses include supervised live-model treatment, alongside educator-led demonstrations and a structured practical assessment.
What will I be certified in?
You’re certified only in the treatment areas you’ve been taught and assessed in, once you’ve met the competency criteria. Each course page sets out exactly what its certification covers, so you always know where you stand.
Are your courses accredited?
Our CPD courses are accredited by Aesthetic Training Hub: Foundation Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments, Foundation Dermal Fillers, Advanced Wrinkle Relaxers, Advanced Dermal Filler and Microneedling and Skin Health. Look for the “CPD accredited” label on each course.
Do you offer regulated qualifications?
Not yet, but we’re working on it. We’re in the process of becoming an independent VTCT-approved centre so we can offer regulated VTCT qualifications in the future. Register your interest and we’ll let you know when they’re available.
How do I book?
Choose your course and preferred date and send us a request. We’ll check availability and suitability, then send an invoice for your deposit by bank transfer. Your place is confirmed once the deposit is received.
What if a course I’m interested in has no dates yet?
Register your interest through our contact form and we’ll let you know as soon as new dates are released.
Can I get support after my course?
Yes. Clinical shadow days and our six-month mentorship programme are designed to help you keep growing, with one-to-one guidance as you build your skills and your practice.
